Craniosacral Therapy (50/75 mins)
Initial Consultation is 75 mins
Craniosacral Therapy is a practice that stems from Osteopathy. It is a gentle and deeply restorative form of bodywork that uses light touch and subtle fascial techniques to support your central nervous system and your body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal. These sessions are non-invasive and work in tandem with your body’s natural intelligence to help you regulate and self-repair.
Craniosacral Therapy is a complementary adjunct to physiotherapy. Sessions are fully clothed on the treatment table. You may request the presence of someone you trust should you need additional support or assistance.
Nervous System Consultation (75 mins)
This is a 75-minute consultation with our Educator Lead / Therapist to help you understand your nervous system and its responses. The session involves a clinical assessment of the autonomic nervous system through Heart Rate Variability (HRV) testing, Nervous System Questionnaire (based on Polyvagal Science), and Vagal Tone Tests, together with a brief discussion of your health history and mapping of your stress responses.
Curate a personal health plan to improve your resilience effectively. This session will give you insight into suitable practices you can progressively use to down-regulate your nervous system from stress to calm and focus.
Physiotherapy (50 mins)
Physiotherapy is a science-based profession that takes a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. This includes considering a patient’s general lifestyle, preferences, and the symptoms presented at hand. At Soma Haus, we work with patients who are suffering from chronic pain and trauma. These are people who have been dealing with their symptoms for a prolonged period of time, which has likely affected their day-to-day lives physically but also mentally.
Working with a trauma-informed physiotherapist can help to restore movement and function for patients affected by injury, pain, illness or disability. Through a comprehensive program of manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, movement practice, education and advice, we help you get your body back to normal function, live pain-free and prevent further physical complications or injuries.
Remedial Massage (50/75 mins)
Top Up available. Choose from Cupping or Sound Therapy (25mins)
This is a deeply relaxing massage that takes a systematic approach to your body and health. Our therapists are highly aware and attuned to your body, utilising a variety of techniques, including deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage therapy, craniosacral therapy, trigger point releases, and fascial manipulation.
Whether you’re working on existing postural concerns or injuries, or looking to drain your lymphatic system and assist detoxification, or just simply looking to relax and unwind chronic tension in your body, we’ve got you covered.
These sessions do not have an assessment element and are intended to complement your existing recovery program with other therapists and healthcare practitioners. Please wear something loose and comfortable. For female clients, please avoid leggings and tight clothing as therapists will be contacting the skin directly.
Somatic Counselling / Psychotherapy (50 mins)
Somatic counselling integrates traditional talk therapy with body-centred techniques to help individuals process and heal from trauma, stress, and emotional distress. This approach acknowledges that the body holds onto past experiences and that these can manifest as physical symptoms or patterns.
Sessions utilise a variety of therapeutic modalities that aim to help a person gain insight and make incremental shifts in improving distressing emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. By working with the body, somatic counselling aims to re-process these stored experiences, promoting healing and fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness and connection.
