Celebrating Two Years of Us

On July 20th, we celebrated our Second Anniversary on Joo Chiat Road. We hosted an evening of panels with insightful discussions with medical doctors and our in-house therapists, as well as our clients sharing their personal journeys in navigating chronic pain and trauma. The evening is a culmination of our work over the last two years, with a mission to transform the narratives of health and well-being in Singapore and beyond.

In our first panel, we invited two guest speakers and renowned medical doctors, Dr Loo (Integrative GP) and Dr Lui (Specialist in Psychiatry). Together with our multidisciplinary team, Dr Ruth (Physiotherapist) and Jo-an (Counsellor), we discussed the intricate connections between physical pain, trauma, and mental health, highlighting the importance of an integrated approach to patient or client care.

Holistic health involves looking at the whole person – not just the individual parts such as our stories, pathology or bones and tissues. Every person receives quality and personalised care, which is enabled by a multidisciplinary approach that promotes health by nurturing the delicate equilibrium between the mind, body, spirit or story through evidence-based conventional and adjunct treatment and services.

In our second panel, we heard from our clients ourselves, Arathi, Layla and Tanya. These individuals came forward to share their personal journeys as it unfolds. From the perspective of chronic pain, medical gaslighting, chronic illness / disease to trauma, they paved the way for others who might be struggling in silence, dealing with the invisibility and complexity of their pain. Their voices and stories are powerful and serve as reminders that we are not alone in our challenges. Together, we break the stigma and foster an environment where everyone feels safe to seek the help they need, to continue walking the path of healing, the path home.

We have a full recording of that evening. Drop us an email if you would like a copy of it.
